job opportunity

Mechanical engineer (intermediate)

JOB overview.

In this role, you will use advanced CAD and additive manufacturing software and apply additive manufacturing (AM) design principles. Your priority will be to ensure quality titanium components are manufactured and inspected to specification and delivered on time! It will involve hands-on work with our Electron Beam Melting (EBM) metal 3D printing machines, 3D scanners, and post-processing equipment. You will bring in new customers by collaborating and communicating in an honest and clear fashion, and help them to manufacture new innovative products which utilise all the benefits of AM.

Of equal importance to the great technical demands of this role will be your ability to reach out to new companies, attend tradeshows, and prospect for new sales opportunities. You will have the ability and willingness to engage directly with customers be it written, spoken, or face-to-face and your activities will directly increase revenue.

You will be exposed to some of the most innovative areas of the aerospace, medical, and marine markets and be at the forefront of manufacturing. Metal 3D printing is a new field, and we don’t expect all candidates to have prior specialised knowledge. We have an extensive training program so what is important is drive, grit, and a can-do attitude.

We are a small hard-working team, who put their heads down and get jobs done. We are a positive bunch who love keeping busy and bringing in new customers and projects. Our company culture involves a flat hierarchy where everyone’s voices are heard, and opinions are taken into consideration.

If you enjoy a fast-paced work environment and working on a variety of projects, you’ll never be bored with this job!
