Recently, our team took a break from the usual day-to-day operations to do something a little different. Our annual “Give Back Day.”
Instead of machines running and tools in hand, we grabbed rubbish bags and gloves, heading out into the local streets and parks to pick up rubbish.
It was a simple but rewarding way to make a visible difference. From footpaths and playgrounds to tucked-away corners of the neighborhood, our team collected bags full of litter leaving the area a little cleaner, greener, and brighter than we found it.
But the day wasn’t just about cleaning up. Alongside our community clean-up, we also ran a donation drive for the Auckland City Mission. In the weeks leading up to the event, everyone brought in food, clothing, and household essentials from home. Together, we filled boxes with items to help those in need.
We’re already looking forward to our next Give Back Day, and to finding more ways to support the community that supports us.
