Recruitment in full swing

It’s been a busy couple of months for us! With an action-packed production schedule, some of our largest orders to date and even a full round of recruitment – Busy might be an understatement!

In saying that, we are incredibly pleased to welcome Tracy, Philipp & Mo to our team! Bolstering roles all over the company, these three are a powerhouse of knowledge and experience, and we couldn’t be more excited to have them onboard.

Philipp nieke

Mechanical Engineer

Over the last year, we have had the pleasure to work with Philipp as a PhD student while he completed his thesis on ‘Additively Manufactured Titanium Alloy Sandwich Structures for Thermal Protection’. He has since presented parts of his research at the European Conference for Aerospace Sciences (EUCASS) in Switzerland. We are thrilled as he now joins our engineering department full-time, bringing a wealth of knowledge in aerospace and material science.

Mo mueen

Quality & Compliance Manager

Mo comes to us from an extensive and highly qualified background in Quality, Health and Safety and technical expertise and is ready to jump into our existing Quality Management System. Leading the charge to ensure we remain at the top of our game. With our current quality standards in place and others on the horizon, it is no small task to take on!

Tracy Taylor

Office & Accounts Manager

Tracy was the first to come on board in our recent hiring efforts and has already brought waves of improvements. With her experience in supervisor roles and office and financial management, She will be involved in all aspects of the day-to-day running of the business. Already fully embracing our mantra of constant improvements and finding better ways of doing, she is well on track to turn the Zenith office into a well-oiled machine.

Once everyone had the chance to get settled and up to speed with their roles, we started the fun part. Respirators on and right into the deep end of the machine room!

Here they were able to experience our expert technicians performing a Q20plus unload and the powder-removal process. We take all our staff (whether involved in our production team or not) through these steps at some point to get a clear picture of our operations, what goes into the manufacture of the components and a realistic understanding of the effort and work that takes place in our machine room and workshop.

Once the build had been successfully and safely unloaded, the team got to watch the steady blasting away of loose and sintered powder that occurs during the EBM process to reveal the parts within.

As our team grows, so to does our capability to service our customers, and work with our suppliers. The metal additive industry continues to gain traction and push into new territories and we are grateful to be apart of the journey into a global reimagining of manufacturing.

We are always on the lookout for the next bright mind to join our team – If you or someone you know is ready for their next opportunity, visit our careers page and get in touch!
